The app is a Modern UI browser like the Internet Explorer Metro App. You can surf the web using it, and when the time comes to verify unknown links, Trend Micro SafeGuardcomes into play and notifies us about the reliability of the website. For example, I tried to visit the web address of popular song download site songs.pk. The app immediately informed me that the site is malicious, and then blocked it.
On the other hand, the app is already configured for Google, Bing and Facebook and has rated these sites as 'safe sites'. So browsing links on these sites, are not malicious, according to this app!
The app is supposed to have integrated web threat protection, search results ratings, web mail rating, social networking protection and Facebook privacy scanning and provides the safety you need, when online. It integrates well with the Twitter web app too. Its refreshing UI and the experience will makes using your new Windows 8 tablet more enjoyable.
