Google Drive is now a day's most popular cloud space provider. Google Drive have launched a Chrome extension which can help you save the images from the Internet directly to your Google Drive account. This extension lets you capture the content from the web and save it to your Google Drive account very neatly.
To use this extension for Chrome, you need to authorize it via your Google Drive account, by granting access to the permissions. To save something to your Google Drive, you simply need to right-click that item on the webpage and click on 'Save to Google Drive' option. You can directly save the image to Google Drive else you can just save the link of the image to Google Drive.
There are four different formats available in which you can save the complete webpage to the Google Drive:
- Image of entire page (.png)
- Image of visible page (.png)
- HTML source
- Web Archive (.mht)
- Google Document
There is an extra additional option available which is 'Convert to Google Format'. This feature lets you save all the content in Google's optimized way. This feature is very useful if you are saving heavy webpages in a single go. Using this extension is just like bookmarking the content to a place which can be viewed anywhere across the globe.
Once you've saved a file by this extension, you would immediately see many option such as to Open, Rename, Edit, Trash, etc. which can save more time and make this extension more productive.
This extension saves your precious time and disk space and lets you just save or bookmark anything to your Google Account. The extension for now is just available for Google Chrome, but we hope that Google Drive would soon release the extension for other browsers too.
