Backups are extremely useful in case there is any accidental data loss. Though considered as important, versioning has an upper hand as a backup method since it does not only creates a copy of your recent data but also their earlier versions (modified or deleted).
EvaCopy is a versioning enabled free backup and restoration software for easy restoration of files and folders for Windows.
EvaCopy which stands for EVACuate and Copy is one such unique backup solution, that combines versioning in combination with backup for easy restoration. The program is simple to configure and distribute across multiple workstations. It is light in weight, portable and requires no JAVA or .NET for its installation. Unless a major problem is encountered, user notices nothing except a tray icon.

EvaCopy when activated, runs in the background silently, checks for any recently modified files and provides a backup for them immediately whenever system is found idle for a while
A free manual that can be downloaded as an archive from the official website provides in-depth information on command-line parameters, batch files, exit codes, log files and other control features. The size of this downloadable archive is 1.5 MB.
Apart from all this, EvaCopy provides support for multiple languages. This includes English, French, Italian, German, etc. the user is allowed to download the language packages for free and use the freeware in their desired language.
